BRO Multi Skilled Workers 2025

The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) has announced the recruitment of 411 Multi Skilled Worker (MSW) positions for 2025, offering roles such as Cook, Mason, Blacksmith, and Mess Waiter. To be eligible for these positions, candidates must meet specific criteria. The minimum educational qualification required is Matriculation (10th grade) from a recognized board or equivalent. Additionally, candidates should possess proficiency in the respective trade, which may include skills like cooking, masonry, blacksmithing, or mess waiting, depending on the post applied for. It's essential for applicants to ensure they have the necessary skills and certifications related to the trade they are interested in. Applicants must also be aware that each role may have a different set of physical and skill-based requirements, so careful attention to the official notification is crucial.

Regarding age requirements, applicants must be male Indian nationals aged between 18 and 25 years as of January 1, 2025. Age relaxation is provided for candidates from reserved categories, with up to 5 years for SC/ST candidates and up to 3 years for OBC candidates. For government servants, the maximum age limit is extended up to 40 years. Additionally, the selection process for these positions includes multiple stages to ensure that only the most qualified candidates are selected. Candidates will need to undergo a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) to assess their physical fitness for the demanding nature of the job. This will be followed by a Practical/Skill Test specific to the trade being applied for, ensuring that candidates are capable of performing the tasks required for their chosen role. A written examination will further evaluate general knowledge and subject-specific expertise.
