RBI JE 2025: Age Limit, Education Qualification Details
Check RBI Junior Engineer (JE) 2025 eligibility criteria, including age limit, educational qualifications, and other key requirements for aspiring candidates.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced the eligibility criteria for the Junior Engineer (JE) 2025 recruitment, providing clear age and education requirements for interested candidates. To apply for the RBI JE post, candidates must be between 20 and 30 years of age as of the specified date mentioned in the notification. Age relaxation benefits apply: SC/ST candidates receive 5 years of relaxation, OBC candidates get 3 years, and persons with benchmark disabilities are eligible for up to 10 years of relaxation depending on their category. It's crucial for applicants to carefully review the age cut-off rules and ensure they have valid supporting documents, as RBI maintains strict verification during the recruitment process. Age eligibility is a critical filter, and candidates falling outside the prescribed limits will not be allowed to participate in the selection stages.
Educational qualification is equally important for RBI JE aspirants. Candidates must have at least a Diploma in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 65% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) from a recognized institute or university. Those possessing a Bachelor's degree in the relevant engineering fields will also be eligible, offering flexibility for both diploma and degree holders. Additionally, practical experience in handling civil or electrical projects is often preferred, although it may not be mandatory. Candidates should also have basic computer literacy, as digital skills are becoming increasingly relevant in RBI's work environment. Meeting both the age and educational qualification criteria is essential to proceed to the next stages, including the written exam and language proficiency test, making it important for candidates to prepare their documents and eligibility proofs carefully before applying.
