Prime Minister’s Young Authors Mentorship Program 2025

Launched under the visionary leadership of the Prime Minister, this program aims to nurture and promote young literary talent across India. It provides aspiring authors with dedicated mentorship, professional training, and the chance to publish their work, helping to create the next generation of literary leaders.

The initiative is part of a larger movement to encourage cultural and intellectual growth among India's youth, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and a strong literary voice.

Some important highlights :

Eligibilities -

• Must be an Indian national.

• Candidate should be below 30 years of age.

• One has to be PIOs or NRIs holding Indian passports.

Note: Applicants who had qualified for the PM-YUVA Scheme 1.0 and PM-YUVA Scheme 2.0 are not eligible for the PM-YUVA 3.0 Scheme for the session 2025-26.

Documents Needed -

• Aadhaar card 

• Indian passport

• 10,000-word book sample on the subjects for this year’s scheme

Benefits of Scholarship - 

• Students will receive up to ₹50,000 per month for a period pf 6 months.

• Authors will also receive 10% of the royalties for their books, which were successfully published.
